Island Of The Past

          When I arrived in San Jose, I got on a helicopter with the other people: Hammond Ellie, Malcolm, and Gennaro. The island was not so far, just about 160km, the island was enormous, the trees looks like it was really the jurassic period trees, then I saw living dinosaur!!, it was an Apatosaur!!! I was shocked. Hammond was making the park into a zoo!! I saw the sign "WELCOME TO JURASSIC PARK" and it even have a logo. Hammond brought us to the safari lodge, it didn't look like the ones in the photo!! It looked like a prison!! Everything was made by metal, the windows are small with bars over them, the doors are made of metal, and there are bars over the skylight too. It looks strange, I hope Hammond has a explanation for this.

         

         



The amber



          Hammond brought us to the safari lodge, the safari lodge was huge, there shows a poster which says: "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth". Hammond explained to us that the dinosaurs are made by genetic engineering, Gennaro seems confused, he still asks if the island was safe and will the dinosaurs able to escape and other. Hammond says the island was safe. Then suddenly a helicopter landed in the field, two kids got out of the helicopter, it was Hammonds grand children. Gennaro was furious, he told Hammond why would he bring his grandchildren if the island was untested if it was safe or not? Hammond then introduced us to another people: John Arnold the chief engineer, Robert Muldoon the park warden, Dr Harding the vet. Then Hammond brought us to a room saying "EXTRACTIONS", the room was full of microscopes and amber.Then Hammond introduced us to another person again: Henry Wu the chief genetist. They told us they extract the blood from the mosquito trapped in the amber, the mosquito did not take human blood, they took dinosaur's instead. The mosquito was trapped inthe amber when they get stuck with some sticky sap from some jurassic tree which fossilizes into what we call it now "amber".

           Hammond took us to the control room, he showed us the super Cray XMP computer, it was one of the world's most powerful supercomputers. It's job is to check and repair Dinosaur DNA. If there is a blank space, the computer search for other animal's DNA that is compatible to the dinosaur DNA, I saw him using some frog DNA, then Hammond brought us to another room labelled the "HATCHERY" The room was warm. There were many incubators and eggs, it was dinosaur's egg. Suddenly, one of the eggs hatched and a baby velociraptor showed up!! it was very cute, Hammond's grandson Tim said would it hurt him, Wu said it won't so Tim hold the baby raptor. I asked them if their dinosaurs are breeding, they said they don't breed,  because we only make females. Then Hammond told us all the kinds of dinosaurs he made.
